SignVideo interpreting service
This service provides access to an online interpreter, for our customers who use British Sign Language (BSL), making it easier to communicate with us.
With the help of an interpreter, you can talk to us directly so we can give you any support you need with your loan, credit card or insurance accounts.
It’s free to use and is available Mon-Fri, 8am-8pm and 8am-1pm Saturday.
It’s fast, simple and secure.
Deaf customers who use British Sign Language can easily contact MBNA Customer Services through a BLS video interpreting service, SignVideo Live.
You can make a video call using your PC/Mac computer or laptop, or Android / iOS smartphone or tablet.
It is very easy – when you have downloaded and installed the software, click on ‘SignVideo Live’ on our website.
You will be connected to a professional, fully qualified BSL interpreter within minutes.
The interpreter will then replay your call to Customer Services.
The service is available Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm and Saturdays 8am to 1pm and is free for you to use.
Setting up SignVideo on your device is simple and straightforward.

How to use SignVideo
You can use SignVideo on a computer, smartphone or tablet. Go to SignVideo, to download the free app which is available for both Android and Apple devices.
If you’re using a PC or Mac, you can access the service from the SignDirectory.

The service is free to Deaf users. It is signed by qualified sign language translators.
