How do I apply for an MBNA credit card?
Click on Personal Credit Cards or Business Credit Cards to apply online now. You can choose from a number of different credit cards and submit up to 4 balance transfer requests. You will receive a confirmation screen upon successful submission of your application.
Who can apply?
For UK cards, you must be a UK resident aged 18 years or over. For business credit cards, you must have been in business for 2 years.
How long does it take to get a decision on my application?
If you apply online between the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, you could get an instant decision. For all other applications, you should hear from us within 7 to 10 working days.
I have not received my signature pack–what should I do?
Contact us if you have not received your signature pack. For personal credit cards, call us on 0800 0851 709, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. For business credit cards, call us on 08000 922 955, between 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday.
How can I request a copy of my credit file?
You can obtain a copy of your credit file by contacting Experian and/or Equifax. Their telephone numbers and web addresses can be found in the External Resources section of this website.
How do I activate my card?
For security reasons, when you receive a new or replacement card, you will need to call us on the telephone number provided prior to use.
