MBNA to launch new website
September 2010
MBNA is set to launch a new-look website, following customer feedback.
The website www.mbna.co.uk is being redesigned to make the navigation of the site easier and more accessible for customers.
Creating a more modern, customer focused website is essential if we are to meet the demands of our millions of customers. For many the online space is now the channel of choice.

The site will be focused around helping customers choose the right card for them, servicing their card and providing helpful information about protecting their account and understanding credit.
The site is one of the company's key communications tools with customers, and as such is being designed in line with the current World Wide Web Consortium (W3CŪ) accessibility guidelines.
Richard Honey, E-Commerce Executive for Bank of America Europe Card Services, which operates under the MBNA brand in the UK, said: "Creating a more modern, customer focused website is essential if we are to meet the demands of our millions of customers. For many the online space is now the channel of choice."
"More and more customers are choosing to apply for credit cards online; use Online Card Services; activate their cards, make payments and view statement information. We are responding to them by creating a new website that is easier to use and navigate, and allows our customers to discover more about our products and services."
The move adds to MBNA's transition to paperless statements which was launched earlier this year for all new internet accounts.
MBNA also announced in August that it will enable all customers, and holders of affinity partner cards provided by MBNA, to activate their credit cards online.
Mr Honey added: "We are committed to offering choice and convenience and we will continue to invest in better technology, that will deliver the online, mobile and voice recognition services our customers expect and deserve."
